Ghaziabad: Road travel and traffic for Ghaziabad residents is poised to improve in three areas very soon. First, the doubling of the width of the Mohan Nagar flyover, on which work had been on for more than three years, was inaugurated on Monday without fanfare since a byelection is due there.
Second, the width of the eight-km stretch of NH 24, from UP Gate to the Dasna railway crossing, on Hapur Road, is to be doubled from four lanes to eight lanes.
And finally, the Ghaziabad traffic master plan, that takes into account the city’s requirements for the next 20 years, has been approved. TNN
