Delhi Clears Two Flyovers At Border With Uttar Pradesh
Delhi Government has given financial clearance to two new multi-level flyovers at two different borders with Uttar Pradesh. While one multi-level flyover would be built at Anand Vihar, another would come up at Apsara border, both in east Delhi.
After chairing a meeting of the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC), Delhi Finance Minister A.K. Walia said the government was committed to ensure smooth flow of traffic on Delhi roads.

The flyover is expected to smoothen inter-state traffic bound for Ghaziabad and beyond in UP and also east Delhi traffic for areas like Dilshad Garden and Shahdara. To cost Rs 226.47 crore, the project is expected to finish in two years from the date of award of contract.

The EFC had also cleared the construction of a storm water drain from Mahipalpur Chowk to Najafgarh drain. This drain would go a long way in smooth operations of the newly developed.
