Development of 44,000 hectare land

The services of a Singapore based Infrastructure Company are likely to be hired for the infrastructure development of 44,000 hectare land along Taj Expressway, now Yamuna Expressway. The Greater Noida Authority has also finalised the contract for the development of Night Safari and the construction will start next month. The company has given responsibility to present a detailed plan of infrastructure development along Yamuna Expressway.
"The company has been assigned to present a detailed report on 44,000 hectare along both the sides of the expressway," said Lalit Srivastava. The company is expected to submit the details regarding power consumption, power generation and supply, industrial, commercial and institutional sectors, roads, health services, and other necessary requirements for a city of International standards.

Meanwhile the Greater Noida authority has cleared the proposal of Night Safari submitted by a Singapore based company. "The project has got nod of the board meeting and the work will start as soon as the documents are completed," said Lalit Kumar, the CEO of GNIDA.

A 150 acre of land has been earmarked for Night Safari in Greater Noida near Gautam Buddha University. The project is planned to create awareness about environment and ecology to provide a source for recreation to residents and spur tourism and augment Greater Noida as a premier tourism destination. The Night Safari meaning "zoo at night" would be the first in India and fourth in the world after Singapore, China and Thailand.
