Clarks Inn Group signs management contract for new hotel in Ghaziabad

Paramount Group & Ajnara Farms & Services JV to develop the project

Clarks Inn Group of Hotels has signed a management contract in New Delhi for their 17th hotel project. The hotel is going to be set up in Ghaziabad. The hospitality project, which is a part of the 360 acres of real estate development, underway on NH-24, in the name of Crossings Republik, will be the first project of the Joint Venture (JV) company — PAV Realty Pvt Ltd — floated by Paramount Group and Ajnara Farms & Services. An agreement to this effect was signed recently by Anoop Kumar, Managing Director, Clarks Inn Group; Ashwani Prakash, Executive Director, Paramount Group and Ashok Gupta, Managing Director, Ajnara Farms & Services on behalf of the JV company.

According to the developers, around 4400 sq mt area, located in the heart of Crossings Republik, have been earmarked for the hotel project and excavation work is already over. Prakash informed, “We hope that the project will be complete by 2011. We are planning to set up approximately 100 rooms in the proposed hotel. The hotel project, which will be a mix-use development model, will have a mall, office areas and a hotel in it.”

After signing the agreement, Kumar said that the project will have the first five-star ‘all suites’ hotel, which will be managed by the Group in the National Capital Region (NCR). He informed that the hotel will be branded as Clarks Inn Suites. Prakash said, “We are happy because the developers have shown their faith in the Clarks Inn brand.”

Touted as the first global city in India, Crossings Republik has seven real estate developers, which are Ajnara Farms & Services Ltd, Assotech Ltd, Gaursons India Ltd, Mahagun Developers Ltd, Panchsheel Promotors Ltd, Paramount Residency (P) Ltd and Supertech Ltd. The development will consist of apartments, golf course, shopping centres and multiplexes.

Clarks Inn Group of Hotels, a subsidiary of UP Hotels Clarks Ltd, which is into management of hotels since 2004, has hotels across India, including cities like Bengaluru, Hubli, Goa, Ghaziabad, Alwar and New Delhi under Clarks Inn and Clarks Exotica brands.
